Bajevic’s Attackers Identified by Police – Video

Four persons from the circle of hardcore supporters of AEK have been identified by the police as responsible for the attack on coach Dusan Bajevic last Saturday in Kallithea suburb of Athens.
The Serbian coach of AEK was attacked and fell to the ground after being punched by angry fans who had surrounded him after the 2-1 defeat by second tier side Kallithea FC.
Police has identified the four AEK fans analysing the rich video footage and pictures material. But the fans have not been captured yet. They can face imprisonment up to 2 years.
Greek media report that Dusan Bajevic, 61, is not likely to file a law suit against the culprits. Allegedly he has only said about the incident “This is embarrassing for the AEK and Greek football.”
Police is considering to set up a special task force against hooligans.
