Athens:Free Breast Cancer Checking (Sept. 13-14)

The campaign “Fashion Fights Breast Cancer “with the contribution of corporate social responsibility of Attica Metro company A.M.E.L. SA will implement its largest action for free examination and breast cancer awareness. The target is to inform as many women as possible about prevention and early detection.
On 13 and 14 September 2010, the metro chamber – Syntagma Square/Athens – will be open from 8 am to 8 pm.
Specialized doctors and medical personel from the hospitals ‘Metaxas” and “Ippokratio” will check for free and the women who will seek concultation and inform them how to prevent disease.
There will be a press conference on September 13 at 1 pm and there is the possibility that Elena Paparizou will sing.
