Athens: Public Transportation Strike- Sept 8, 2010

Long time not seen! The strikes! Now we will see them again. Coming Wensday September 8, 2010 there will be no public transportation from 11 pm to 4 am (11:00 – 16:00). No Buses, Metro, Tramway, Urban and Suburban Railway as well the National Railway. Suburban and national Railway will repeat their work breaks also on Thursday.
To tell you the truth I don’t know if the strike concerns only Athens or is Greece-wide !
If you travel abroad by railway, you better check with your travel agent or OSE.
Meanwhile, kiosk owners decided to cancel their strike originally planned for Sept 8, 9, 10. So need to rush and empty the kiosks from cigarettes and chewing gums.
