Greek Mega TV’s Washington correspondent reported that Strauss-Khan called his Athens IMF’s boys and girls and asked them to empty the flat they have rented for EUR 9,100 per month – so much as the average Greek pensioner gets in 15 months!
The flat in the most expensive street of Athens overlooks Acropolis and the Saronic Gulf, but as it is on the 5th floor it provides no view to pensioners, low income employees and jobless, the angry and soon hungry people of Athens.
According to Michalis Ignatiou angry Strauss-Khan told them ” Do find a home for two grands, you provoke the Greek people!”
That’s right, babe!
I hope the IMF’s won’t be after me now….
