While waiting for the IMF Press Conference….

Greeks are holding their breath! In a short while the much feared and much hated Troika officials from EU, IMF and ECB are going to announce their conclusions of the Greek economics, statistics and bleak future. What can we expect? An even tighter fiscal economic policy that will force layoffs, wages cuts and employees’ rights abolishing. Why? Oh, in case you haven’t got it yet… Because for decades the Greek State was spending more than it was receiving.
Ten millions of Greeks are called on to come up for the state’s debts. A call that translated into numbers and Euros means that every Greek will have to pay its share of 33,000 EUROS. Whether he/she has it or not.
While we are waiting for the Press Conference I thought we could hear a nice song. I was pending between “You belong to my Heart” from Disney’s film The Three Caballeros and Elton John’s Blue Eyes. I chose Blue Eyes, then I can devotedly dedicate it to Mister Blue-Eyes, IMF boy, Poul Thomsen.
