Atenistas’s Next: Cleaning Parade in Athens! Dec 5

Atenistas keep rolling…. Armed with gloves, sponges and garbage bags they’ll set out to an unforgettable cleaning parade! They’ll rub, scrub, scrap and paint a part of Patission Avenue in the middle of Athens downtown.
The action is organized on the occasion of World Volunteers Day.
December 5, 2010 ! Sunday noon time at 12:00
Meeting point: Omonia metro, exit to Panepistimiou Street.
The cleaning parade will start at the junction Patision street/Panepistimiou street and work until junction Patision/Kapodistriou. Don’t worry, it’s only four street blocks!
You will need to bring a small set of cleaning stuff like sponges with wild surfaces, scrappers (for posters & chewing gums), cleaners, 1 empty water bottle, 1 garbage bag, some old T-shirts, buckets or similar … If you can’t… no problem! Atenistas will provide you with everything.
