Athens Public Transport “killing me softly” – Dec 23, 24

Never give up the HOPE that things will get better! The majority of Athens/Attica basin Public Transport operate today, Tuesday, December 23, according to shops working hours.
Buses operate: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Metro, Trolley, Urban Train-HSAP operate: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Tram operates: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Proastiakos will not operate: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Conclusion: If you work at a shop you will have to catch a taxi to return home – same will happen to consumers who didn’t return home timely…
Tomorrow Friday, December 24, 2010 all public transport will operate as scheduled, except for Buses that will not be on the streets 12 noon – 4 p.m.

Unfortunately, the latest news is that the striking will continue through at until least 03 January. Who has had enough of this??
