This week’s omens do not promise any good. Monday started with new announcements for public transport strikes, Government spokesman verbally “disapproved” Greek deputy Prime Minister insulting statements (I will report about tomorrow). Athens stock Exchange went down and 10-year Greek bond spreads went up, both hitting historical records.
In Stylida a mayor demolished highway toll barriers and in Peloponnese, an adventurous city council session ended with a member slapping a fellow in the face.
I think, people’s nerves are skiing on a pair of razors’ blades.
I should ask my personal astrologist if things will get worse….
