Illegal Immigrants scare German BILD: “We wanna go to Germany”

German populist newspaper BILD sent a reporter and a photographer to Greece to investigate the living conditions of illegal immigrants. “BILD visited the barracks of misery” says the title, while the under-title explains: “So cruel are asylum seekers treated in Athens.” the main the headline thought is so scary not only for the BILD itself but also for its readers: ”Asylum in Greece: We want to go to Germany!”

BILD writes:
Asylum seekers in Greece have nothing to eat, sleep in barracks – and doctors deny them help.EU has described the conditions as “violation of human rights”, Germany halted all deportations to Greece.
Bild reporters visited the camp barracks in Athens and Patras. And they took pictures the whole Europe should be ashamed of” (Read Full Article and see more shocking picture here )
Yes, I partly agree. These people have no money, no present and no future. They live in conditions below the human dignity due to the lack of policy and immigrants’ centres in Greece.
But are they all entitled to seek asylum? Or are many of them plain economical migrants, like so many Greeks are today? Economically at the end, migrants trapped in their own country…
BILD Readers’ comments
While BILD charges the Greek state and the Greeks ‘behavior that has nothing to do with Europe” it is quite interesting to read the comments posted by BILD readers on the internet. None would like to have even one of those immigrants in Germany.
“Yes, lets them all in! You are crazy! “writes one. And a second “They should stay there, we have enough here”. A third one “They should stay in Greece or the country should send them back to their countries”.
“Oh, that’s cruel! We should give them a small house free of charge, of course. I am sure BILD is ready to donate hundreds of thousands of euros so the ugly sentence disappears”
“I have pity wiht them but why to come to Germany? There are also other countries like England, Sweden, Norway etc”
Unfortunately neither the reporter nor the photographer took fragrance of the organized criminal gangs that have divided Greek regions and Athens suburbs into sections where they locate the immigrants of the same nationality and ‘help’ them make a living by selling handbags, cleaning vehicle glasses, pushing drugs and “paid love”.
And by the way, every state hospital is obliged to treat anyone against a fee of 5 euros.
I can very well recall the time when I was living in Germany, a properly dressed and German speaking young Greek. One in 200 Germans would rent his flat to me and mostly under the condition my family wouldn’t come visit me … YUCK!
