(upd)Athens:Public Transport Week of Strike Horror, Feb 2-4

Some of us survived today’s buses, metro and urban train strikes. The worst is however yet to come. Apart from the hikes on public transport tickets that start tomorrow, another strike tsounami is going to hit us this week, from February 1 to February 4, 2011. It is the second month that Public Transport unionists keep hostages the residents of Athens.
So!
February 1: Buses, Metro, Trolley 24h strike
February 2: Buses, Urban Train, Trolley 24h strike
February 3: Urban Train 24h strike ALL PUBLIC TRANSPORT WILL OPERATE AS USUAL! YUHOOOO!
February 4: Work stoppages Buses & Trolley 11:00 am – 3:30pm, Urban Train 12 pm – 4:00 pm
How much will it cost you to go downtown? How many hours will you be stuck in at traffic jams? How long will strikes continue? Two months? Two years? Nobody gives a damn dam…. especially the Greek government. Another Public Transport Strike? Don’t worry, it’s just another Greek tragedy…
