Another week targeting Greek citizens in general and Athens residents in particular has started with public transport workers and doctors on strike.
Today, Monday there will be no buses from 11 am to 4 pm. Metro and Urban Train-HSAP are on a 24 h strike.
Moreover the Metro has decided to be on strike tomorrow Tuesday, February 1, 2011 as well.
IKA Doctors will be on strike from Tuesday-Friday, February 1-4, 2011.
Hospital doctors will stage a work stoppage on Tuesday, February 1, from 9 am to 1 pm.
Pharmacies in Piraeus remain closed as they are on a 48h strike. Those in Athens will decide how to proceed during the day. Pharmacies all over Greece will remain closed on Feb 4 , 7 and 8, 2011.
