(Upd) Athens: You Think Public Transport Strikes are Over?

Posted by keeptalkinggreece in Society

If answer is “Yes”, you are mistaken! OK, there is no public transport strike today – for a change! However as of tomorrow the workers will start new protest actions, despite the fact that the reform bill has been passed through the Greek Parliament.

There will be no blue buses and trolley around between 11:00 am and 04:30 pm  Friday, February 18 and Monday, February 21.

No Blues Buses on Friday, February 25, 2011, 11:00 am – 04:00 pm.

No Trolley Tuesday, February 22, 11:00 am – 04:00 pm

No Public Transport means Wednesday, February 23, the day where  private and public sector trade unions have called for a general strike. Also shops will be closed on that day. Only Urban Train-HSAP will operate 9:00 am – 05:00 pm.

No Public Transport at all on Monday, February 28 as they will hold an assembly.
