Officially “Spring” is up in Greece, unofficially there are clouds, rather chilly temperatures and it smells like rain. The coalition bombardments against Libya and the developments on the nuclear reactors in Japan are on the front line of media coverage and to tell you the truth I am unable to watch ‘one more video from the tsunami’ hitting the country…
As Libya is concerned the Greece’s involvement kept us busy the whole weekend and now a new aspect is thrilling Greece: Will Gaddafi hit Crete with Scud missiles? These horror-producing claims came to the surface after Muammar Gaddafi threatened the Western forces yesterday. I believe that the Gaddafi-SCUDS are most probably ‘expired’ – and I will report on the issue later.

Daily Kathimerini has published a series of Wikileaks cables from the American Embassy in Athens about Greek politicians. What do American diplomats think about them? I ‘ll tell you later.
A hearing at the International Court of Justice in The Hague (ICJ) opens today March 21-30 over a complaint brought against Greece by the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (fYRoM). The government in Skopje claims that Greece has violated Article 11 of the September 1995 “Interim Accord”. According to fYROM FM, Skopje requests ICJ to determine that Greece at the NATO summit in Bucharest in April 2008 breached Article 11 i.e. it objected the NATO membership invitation for fYROM.
Deputy Prime Minister Theodoros Pangalos accused left-wing party SYRIZA for the yogurt attack last week. SYRIZA dismissed the accusations.

The best I left at the end: A Greek-Australian woman is sueing local concert organisersbecause she got injured during a concert of Greek singer Notis Sfakianakis. She entered the stage to dance but she slipped at the carnations hurled by the fans and got injured. She is seeking compensation for the medical costs, the missing income, the pain and the shock she suffered.
Weird, isnt’ it? Greeks say: A zeibekiko per day keeps the doctor away!
