Heat Wave to Hit Greece this week
Posted by keeptalkinggreece in weather
Temperatures gradually rise from today until Saturday, when the thermometer will show 40 degrees Celsius in most parts of Greece. Today and tomorrow, July 13th and 14th, temperatures are expected to hit 38/39 degrees Celsius. We are lucky to have some winds blowing and not just boil and grill on the hot Athens cement.
The sun will be shining all over the country, however some local rains are expected on Saturday in the mountainous areas of Northern Greece.
However the weekend will be extremely hot with temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius.
It will be the first real heat wave of this summer. Last year, with the extreme temperatures torturing us for days, I got an idea on how to overcome the heat wave while surfing on internet… Follow my instructions if you want to save your right hand from an XXL-overheated PC Mouse.
