Outbound chief of the European Central Bank, Jean-Claude Trichet, was delivering his last speech at the Humboldt university in Berlin, where he became the target of angry Greek students. A group of Greeks entered the hall and started chanting slogans against the Troika and the banks, while they also raised  banners.

“Say NO to the debt tyranny!”, “No more money to Banks!”, Troika out of Greece”. were some of the slogans of the angry Greek students. “Can you live with €470 per month? For how long will you continue to pretend?” a female student shouted at Trichet.

Keeping calm – but certainly with a quicker heart beat – Trichet continued his speech repeating his proposal for the neccessity of establishing a Finance Ministry within the eurozone. He also favored   the guardianship of undisciplined, saying that “this will make the amendment of EU Treaties inevitable.”

At the end of his speech some clapped their hands and some booed…
