Posted by keeptalkinggreece in Uncategorized
Greek Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos was hastily transferred to the hospital on Tuesday morning with abdominal pain, his office announced. Venizelos is still in the Central Clinic in Athens and is expected to remain there until the afternoon. Currently he undergoes several tests. Greek media report of a ”possible infection”. However an official doctors’ statement is due within the next hours.
Last night Venizelos spoke in front of the parliamentary group of ruling party PASOK and later gave interviews on the referendum issue.
UPDATE: According to official doctors’ statements, Venizelos suffers from an inflammation of the Appendix. However there are not plans that he will be operated. Weird, isn’t it?
Venizelos seems to be the third victim of immense pressure and distress. During the EUSummit talks last week, one of Papandreou’s counsellors suffered a heart attack and another one went to hospital with high blood pressure.

Appendix or no appendix, that’s the question… LOL
And yes, this is weird. If it is serious it should come out now. If not then there is no need to stay in hospital.
he will be treated with antibiotics and sent back to Colosseum to be eaten by the lions.
Poor lions. They will have a serious case of indigestion after that event… LOL
