All Athens public transport ware on 48-hour general strike, except for the urban train-HSAP, that operates between Piraeus-downtown Athens-Kifisia. However, HSAP will join sthe strike with work stoppage and will operate only between 10 am and 7 pm on Friday and Saturday, Feb 10-11/2012.
Workers at the other Athens public transport means join the 48-hour general strike organized by public and private sector unions, ADEDY and GSEE, for Feb 10 and 11, 2012.
So far it has been known that Blue Buses, the Trollye, TrainOSE trains, Proastiakos, Metro and Tram will not operate at on Friday and Saturday.
The Urban train HSAP will operate between 10 am and 5 pm, to facilitate protesters to join the demonstrations planned for Friday and Saturday at 11 am outside the Greek Parliament at Syntagma Square.
