UPD: Greece’s Public & Private Sector on 24h Strike, Sept 26/2012

Greek public and private sector unions ADEDY and GSEE have decided to launch a 24-hour strike on Wednesday, September 26th 2012. Public life is expected to be paralyzed and downtown Athens to be stormed by protesters.
As of Sept 20/2012 the following trade unions will join the strike:
ADEDY: public services will be closed
GSVEE: private enterprises and shops will be closed until 3 p.m.
PNO: seamen on 24-hour strike
OLME: teachers in secondary education
Academics in Polytechnic School & teachers at Professional Colleges
OTE: Greek telecommunication company
Public Transport work stoppage schedule, Seamen 24h, Air Traffic Controllers work stoppage.
Also: fuel oil traders (probaly closed until 3 pm) , workers in several health sector branches, bank and customs employees, lawyers. notaries, meteorologists.
In some areas, pharmacies will be closed.
Media will have a work stoppage from 11 am to 3 pm.
