First sea swim in December – eeeverrrr
Posted by keeptalkinggreece in Very Mix, weather
I can’t hide it! I am deeply proud to have successfully performed my very first swim at open sea in December. At a nice Athens beach. Together with some thirty other crazy Greeks.
My very first winter swim eeeverrr ![]()
I must confess the sea was tiny bit more than just ‘frsh’* and hundreds of medium size ice cubes were floating all over the place.
But it was a wild-at-heart experience thanks to sun, temperature at 22° C and zero wind. However only 40 minutes and not one hour as usually.
right: nicely rotten Olympic Games facility

Who would believe that it is you in those photos? Readers can’t verify it. Use lipstick or something and paint the 3 letter ‘KTG’ on either your foots, or your legs, or your arms,… somewhere on the body, then take pictures of it. That’s the way to convince readers!
Redo it tomorrow?
you said it is me?
I suppose it was you, because there is no reporter’s name in the article besides the poster name which is KTG.
Great feat!
You sure like swimming in the sea. You should come to Vancouver some time around New Year’s and participate in this swimming event called the polar bear swim or plunge or something. You’d fit in well with the ten thousand or so doing it.
Vancouver? New Year? swimming? I’ll certainly be the frozen polar bear people can buy as souvenir
You would, speaking from personal experience. We use to do a charity swim every year in the North Atlantic, on New Year’s day.
We are all born insane, some of us stay that way…
Why don’t you put up a p;oll and let KTG-ians decide…
guess what I have to do if they vote Yes!
That’s democracy for you
if it’s me who has to jump in the cold water, then I don’t like this kind of democracy. I can tell in advance, that 99% of KTG-ians will vote YES.
And if it was somebody else, me for instance?
we could think about it
Clairvoyant power! You can read peoples mind, don’t you?
mind’s of people I think I know
