Happy News Year with 2013 smiles – that’s 5.5 smiles per day :)

Best wishes for a Happy New Year, a year with 2013 times more prosperity, health and smiles and 2012 times less austerity and misery.
2012 was a rather horrible year in many respects.
Let’s hope that things can only get better and thus as soon as of 1. January 2013.
Let’s hope that the new year will also be a Happy News Year.
2,013 smiles = 5.5 smiles per day ![]()
Cheers!

Wishing you and your readers a very happy, healthy and successful New Year!
thank you, corinne, very happy new year to you too!
KTG, I tried to post this on your Norad post, but the spam protection would not allow it..
So, Santa came to our house and brought some great gifts on Christmas late night eve and now for New Year’s eve, his cousin, “St. Bill” (at least that’s what we tell our child) comes to bring some more.
Also, I noticed you had a chat with the US Air Force on your twitter feed. What’s the origin of this conversation. Do you have friends from the US Air Force who track Santa through Norad!
yes, St Basil will come (a second time) for Greeks
the origin of the conversation was NYEves customs around the world and that we cut a New Year’s Cake with a lucky coin in it.
Oh, ok. I also have a US Air Force friend at the American military base in Crete so wondering if you might have met them there. He has the best of both worlds celebrating Greek and American holidays on such a wonderful Island (Crete), and of course, all the creature comforts of America on the base!
Happy New year to all!
While we are out doing our thing and hopefully forgetting about troubles past, present and future, don’t forget there are those out there who are not so lucky to be able to put it all aside, even for one night…
Happy New Year. All the best to Greece.
Happy New Year! — everybody.
PS.
@Ephilant:
How was the (bloody) red snapper, the finger is better .. yes??
A happy New Year to you! Glad to report that the Snapper went down very well, nobody noticed it’s slightly redder-than-normal appearance.
As for the finger, all working fine, slightly thinner than last week, and another scar to brag to the grandchildren about. Thanks for asking!
