Athens Metro: new 24h strike, Jan 20/2013

Things are getting wilder here and angry workers break the taboo after the other. That is “launching strikes over the weekend”. After a strike on Saturday, workers at Athens Metro decided to go a 24-hour strike also on Sunday, January 20th 2013.

Metro workers are on strike since Thursday demanding to be exempted from the new payroll. Transport Minister rejects their demands and they threaten to continue their protest mobilization.
