With a time difference of just a few minutes, small cooking gas canisters exploded at the office of two former ministers and one active deputy minister. All three politicians are members of PM Samaras’ party Nea Dimocratia.

The explosions trapped several employees in the offices. They were rescued by the fire brigades.

Nobody was injured but material damages were caused.

government spokesman Simos Kedikoglou condemned the attacks and stressed that “terror acts won’t scare the government. On the contrary, they show that the government is on the right track.”
