Sailing with local passenger ship in the Cyclades by 9 Beaufort (video)

Passengers and crew of ship “Artemis” had a hard time due to the gale strong winds blowing in the Aegean Sea with an intensity of up to 9 Beaufort. The vessel operating among the island group of Cyclades was sailing from the island of Milos to Kimolos, Folegandros, Sikinos, Ios, Naxos, Paros and Syros.

When maritime authorities ordered ferries and ships to remain docked at the ports due to the weather conditions on Wednesday evening, Artemis was already sailing in the Central Aegean Sea.

“None of the destinations ports was safe,” writes blog kaipoutheos adding that the captain and the crew managed to reach the port of Syros and take passengers to safety.
