2:00 pm Macedonia protest Syntagma Square

3 metro stations (Syntagma, Panepistimio, Omonoia) will be closed to public as of 10 am. Treo trains will pass through but will not halt.

Organizers of Macedonia protest appeal to police to let metro station Syntagma open in order to facilitate people to join the protest, assuring ‘there is no fear of clashes.’ – I don’t think police will positive respond to the appeal.

Parking in downtown will be forbidden as of 10 pm Saturday,  traffic will gradually be halted in main avenues and roads in the broader Athens area as of 6:00 am Sunday.

More than 2,500 buses are expected to arrive from other regions of Greece. authorities have assigned several areas outside the city center as parking plots for the buses. .

On both days police warns that traffic regulations may be modified depending on the conditions.

There are fears that clashes may erupt between anarchists and extreme nationalists.
