Lady Gaga will not perform in Athens! Why Not?

 Lady Gaga’s fans in Greece are unlucky! The eccentric superstar changed her mind and will not perform on Super Final of European Music Competition in EuroVoice on September 24.

According to an exclusive story by YUPI.gr , Lady Gaga and her team were initially positive for a live perfomance  but at the end organizators’ proposal was turned down.

“They had open discussions and the atmosphere was positive,” said to Yupi  one of the organizers. “But when the bombing took place in the office of Minister of Civil Protection Mihalis Chrisohoides thus killed the aide of the minister (June 24), plans failed. Lady Gaga’s team  informed us that there will be no concert, because they were unsure about the safety of  the travel.”

Yupi writes that Anastacia‘s performance has been secured, while Enrique Iglessias’ appearance is highly possible.

European Interactive Music  Contest EuroVoice takes place yearly. Young but talented artists from many European countries (including Turkey and Israel)  compet for a winning position, a money award and a contract with a record company. Chairman of the organisation is composer Eric Serra (Joan of Arc, The Fifth Element)
