A man set himself on fire in an attempt to put an end to his life due to economic problems. The 49-years-old man entered a church, splashed gasoline all over his body and set himself on fire. the priest and some church visitors rushed to help him and manage to extinguished the fire with water.
He was tranferred to a local hospital. He is alive however with severe burning.
The incident happened in the Agios Constantinos Church in the town of Volos, last Monday.
