14:40 Clashes are continuing in the streets oh Athens downtown and police has made extensive use of tear gas. Protesters complain of a ‘ gas chamber’ similar situation.
A riot policeman was injured after caught fire form a hurled molotov cocktail bomb. A municipality motorbike was destroyed by fire as well.
In the area around Syntagma Sq, side streets and Panepistimiou Avenue there are reportedly clashes between police and demonstrators. Garbage bins have been set on fire.

Protesters are still ramaining around Syntagma Sq, opposite the Greek Parliament.
Similar savage is the situation in Thessaloniki, with police having fired tear gas to disperse the protesters crowd. There are reports claiming that police has harassed photographers.
As Greek mainstream journalists are on strike there are several alternative media, sites, blogs and citizen-journalists reporting and uploading pictures and videos from the centre of the clashes.
