Still Pressure on Greece to leave the Euro zone

It takes no end! The scenarios and the articles pushing Greece to exit the Euro Zone. The articles appear mainly in the German press and the flag of economic sinners is been held by Ifo-Institute head H-W Sinn (what a name coincidence!)  even though the German Economy minister Rainer Bruederle rejected the idea of euro zone exit and return to drachma.

However the speculation, the scenarios and the pressure continue and trigger uncertainty, while the Athens Stock Exchange goes down and the Greek state bonds spreads up. Not to mention the fatal effects on the Greek bank.

The IMF/EU/ECB Troika will come to Athens tomorrow to start the screening of fiscal progress for the release of the 15-billion-euro fifth tranche of  the €110 billion bailout. The drama of last Friday about the secret presence of Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou at the Eurogroup finance ministers in Luxembourg and the false management of the ‘crisis’ that erupted caused the Athens Stock Exchange to be in minus today, Monday.

As it seems, blame it on the Memorandum of Understanding, blame it on government’s hesitation in implementing the necessary measures make more and more Greeks speaking about a total failure of MoU.

However no one comes with an alternative solution plan to save the Greeks from this disastrous situation. People are getting more and more frustrated and the state eyes only revenues. Barrels that have to be filled with euros, but the barrels have no bottom.

P.S. Greece’s public prosecutor is being asked to carry out the urgent preliminary investigation to ascertain if German Magazine DER SPIEGEL article claiming alleged Greek plans to exit the euro zone  is the commission of the crime of spreading false information aimed at people panic and loss of confidence in the common currency.
