How about a nice walk in the city’s most beautiful street at the feet of Acropolis and some charity? Tomorrow Sunday, September 25th 2011 in Athens? Animal Welfare Society Nine Lives organizes a Bazaar for the benefits of stray and abandoned cats in Greece’s capital. The bazaar takes place from 11 am to 3pm at the Boy Scouts Headquarters of Acropolis, just 5 minutes walk form “Acropolis” Station of the Metro. In times of economic crisis the number of abandoned pets increases dramatically. Read Below the Nine Lives Statement:
“Wanting to liven up your autumn wardrobe with some bargain clothes and accessories?Need to find some good books for those long dark autumnal evenings that will soon be upon us?There’s nowhere better to browse than the Nine Lives Autumn Bazaar, held on Sunday September 25th between 11am and 3pm at the Boy Scout’s headquarters on the beautiful pedestrian promenade of Dionysiou Areopagitou in central Athens!We will have our usu…al eclectic selections of clothing, shoes and accessories, jewellery, household ornaments, childrens’ toys and games, English, Greek and French books and much, much more at crisis-beating prices – with every cent going to a good cause.La Chocolatiere are once again generously donating delicious veggie sandwiches and quiches, and there will also be tea/coffee, wine, homemade cakes and pies and other irresistible refreshments on offer.The location is just 5 mins walk from Acropolis metro station.All proceeds go towards our neutering, feeding and veterinary care programmes for stray and abandoned cats in Athens.
