Air Traffic Controllers (GATCA) will join the mobilization of Greece’s public sector for a 24-hour strike on October 5th 2011. The strike will start October 5/11 at 00:01 midnight, local time, and end 24 hours later. However watch for updates as Athens courts normally rule GATCA strikes as ‘illegal’… Then strikes are cancelled, Air Traffic Controllers ‘work on rule’ and possible flight delays. UPDATE Oct 4/11 The strike of Air Traffic Controllers wil be held as planned. Flights are expected to be cancelled!
