With banks closed for almost a week, few Cypriots seem to feel like spending money for entertainment. Greek singers cancel one after the other their planned concerts on the troubled island. Despina Vandi and Antypas announced that they cancel their concert on March 23rd 2013 due to the economic crisis.

“Many people called and asked to return the tickets and get their money back as they did not know when the banks would open again,” Kiamos told private Star TV.
