Workers at Trainose trains and Proastiakos will launch one work stoppage and a 24-hour strike over the Greek-Orthodox Easter weekend, 4th and 5th May 2013. On Saturday the work stoppage will take place between 6 pm and midnight, while the 24-hour strike will take place on Easter Sunday.
Due to Proastiakos strike, the Metro will not operate to/from Athens Airport but up to <Doukissis Plakentias> station.
Workers oppose the privatization of TrainOSE and the double tax deduction of 25% of their salaries and demand collective bargain.
