An unidentified assailant stabbed the secretary of an investigating magistrate at the capital’s main court complex on Friday, according to sources who said the 36-year-old woman was transferred to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police detained the assailant who is an Iraqi national, Skai television reported without providing details of the circumstances or motive for the attack.
It remained unclear how the assailant managed to pass a knife through the normally tight security at the entrance to the Evelpidon court complex. (ekathimerini)
