Greek Court declares Air Flight Controllers’ strike “illegal” – Flights as scheduled, Oct 4-5/2014

First Instance Court in Athens declared the planned 48-hour strike by Greek Air Traffic Controllers as “illegal”. Therefore all flights will will operate as scheduled on the weekend October 4th and 5th 2014. It was the Civic Aviation Authority that had appealed to the court with the aim to cancel the strike.

With the strike, Greek Air Traffic Controllers wanted to protest a ministerial decree that gives the Public Debt Management Agency (O.D.DI.CH.) access to the accounts of Air Navigation Route Charges so that ODDICH “covers immediate needs in cash.”

PS hahaha! Air Looting!
