Athenians with no private vehicle or no money for taxi have to stay at home today as all public transport means are on strike. Metro, urban train ISAP, tram, buses and trolley buses are on a 48-hour strike that started on Friday morning and will end on Sunday morning. Oh wait! Workers at public transport means will launch a work stoppage on Sunday and will operate only from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Travelers from and to the islands will not be able to travel due to the Seamen strike that also started on Friday morning and will end on Tuesday morning.
Train workers launched their strike yesterday, Thursday midnight and will continue until midnight Sunday.
