A man was shot in the middle of the day in Exarchia neighborhood in downtown Athens, just 100 meters away from the famous square full of cafes and restaurants. The incident took place at 11:30 am, when two assailants on a motorcycle started shooting at the man.
After firing 5-6 shots, the assailants who were wearing hoods fled.
Wounded in neck, chest and head, the man collapsed at the building entrance.
Residents alarmed police and the ambulance, the man was taken to the hospital where he died an hour later.
According to police sources, the man was of Arab descent and 35 years old. He was allegedly known to police and suspected to be involved in drug trafficking for the Albanian mafia.
While police is conducting investigation, there is suspicion that the shooting had to do with settling accounts between gang members.
A similar incident took place in 2013 also in Exarchia also on the same street, the victim shot with a Kalashnikov was member of the Albanian drug mafia.
Riot police cordons the shooting area
Although there is strong, riot police presence in the area known to be meeting point for Greece’s anarchists, some media report that after the shooting, residents demand a stronger police presence.
After some 20 times of attempted murder with his knife by this police-protected killer, “Habbibi” finally learnt that he’s a shit-faced creep and ordered contract killers to help him go die.
While the media now again – stupid as they are – hunts against anarchists, hopefully now some smarter journalists bring light into the police-dealer connections and why citizens arson this police-station and carry guns on demonstrations to protest the para-state crowd-control via drugs.
Will this “leftist” government’s crisis solution make sure that Heroin will be cheaper than Marijuana?
yes, I was surprised too to read ‘f the ‘anarchists’ option who allegedly killed the man as they opposed drug trafficking in the area. Crazy scenario!
