Trikala: Police arrests street vendor for selling pop-corn without license

The Law and nothing but the Law. And the Implementation of the Law. Police in the city of Trikala in central Greece, handcuffed a 34-year-old man because he was selling pop-con on the streets without having previously obtained a license. The ‘criminal’ was taken to the The man was taken to Police Directorate of the city.

The man from Trikala was trying to earn a daily income of a couple of euros.

Local media, criticize the arrest pointing out at the many street vendors and the black economy that is widespread in the area.

PS yes but if these street vendors have a strong ‘network’ behind them, nobody touches them…

    As corn is a from Indians stolen culture just like any other state the Greek state has no right to do take taxes; unless they pay license in some Indian reservations or at least have the cheek to ask for permission to use their culture heritage to feed people.
