Greece’s Navy opens the doors of 30 lighthouses across the country for visitors. The Lighthouses in 30 regions will be open from 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday, August 21st, 2016 on the occasion of the International Lighthouse Day.
The public can visit the following lighthouses

5. Vasilina – Evia
6. Vrysaki – Lavrio
7. Gerogompos – Kefalonia
8. Pig – Skopelos
9. Drepano – Achaia
10. Drepano – Chania
11. Kassandra – Chalkidiki
12. Katakolon – Ilia, Peloponnese
13. Keri – Zakynthos
14. Kranai – Gytheion, Peloponnese
15. Lakka – Paxoi
16. Megalo Emvolo – Thessaloniki
17. Melagkavi – Loutraki
18. Plate – Limnos
19. Skinari – Zakynthos/Zante
20. Sousaki – Corinthia
21. Spathi – Serifos
22. Psaromyta – Fokis
23. Kokkinopoulo – Psara
24. Alexandroupolis – Alexandroupolis
25. Tenaro – Laconia
26. Kopraina – Arta
27. Kaki Kefali – Chalkida, Evia/Euboia
28. Thessaloniki
29. Monemvasia – Laconia
30. Dana – Poros
During the visit, the public will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of lighthouses and other navigational aids to navigation as well as about the lighthouse guards.
