“On my last trip abroad as president, I finally had the opportunity to visit Greece and to meet the beautiful history of this country. Here on the Acropolis, in the place of birth of democracy and the democratic values that we share as Americans, you understand the value of a government of the people, by the people, for the people, and how people, irrespective of the nation to which they belong, will decide the kind of country in which we live, the ideals which we seek and the values that will define us” states”.

The video was shot before Barack Obama delivered his historic speech in the Stavros Niarchos Foundation where he again praised Democracy, spoke of gaps of globalization and the inequality among citizens that has to be fought. The US president called for “course of correction on globalization.
