Varoufakis: Shortlisted Candidate for Children Book Award

Former finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis is one of the candidates for a Children Book Award.

The name of Varoufakis is on short listed by the Greek Ministry of Culture for his book “Talking to my daughter about the economy” and in the category “knowledge books for children.”

Varoufakis’s book was published in 2014 and according to the author it was an attempt to popularize the economy for teenagers.

In the same category as the book of ex finance minister are also the books “Stories told by the light”, “Be an agent of the planet’ and “The prehistoric painter and a monster”.
