Greece’s Defense Minister makes the cross sign to pilots taking off to intercept Turkish F-16

Defense Minister Panos Kammenos visited members of the Greek Armed Forces in order to exchange the traditional Christmas and New Year greetings. While the Minister was visiting the 135 Combat Group on the island of Skyros, a couple Turkish F-16 jets had violated the Greek FIR.

The Greek response was prompt. The pilots on duty left the ceremony and rushed to identify and intercept the Turkish jets.

As the pilots were taking off, Minister Kammenos (left on the picture) made the sign of cross and sent them to the ‘battle field with the power and the blessing of God’ – as we say in Greece.

Point is that Defense Minister Panos Kammenos is indeed a true believer.

  1. Pity he is also a traitor serving in a Quisling government under the 4th Reich.
