According to media, one or two gunmen opened fire at a police bus outside the headquarters of Pan-Hellenic Socialist Movement at Charilaou Trikoupi street very close to Exarchia – a districts of Athens where anarchist groups frequently clash with police.

Two bullets went through the windows of the police bus, one through the window of a shop next door.

Trikoupi is not “close to Exarcheia”: it is well within Exarcheia! (Just not that near to Stournari Street and the actual Square)
