At a joint press conference with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at the White House, US President Donald Trump expressed his clear support to Greece.
“Greece should get responsible debt relief,” Trump said and millions of Greeks signed in relief.
He said further that “Greece is a very reliable ally and friend.”
He added that Greece offers “immense opportunities” for investment.
Tsipras: “US-Greek ties at best level since WWII”
At the press conference Tsipras deftly sidestepped a question about having once called Trump “ evil.”
