From Friday, December 15th 2017, until Tuesday, January 2nd 2018, shops in Greece follow different operation hours and will be open also on three Sundays in order to allow consumers to do their Christmas shopping in a relaxed atmosphere.
Shops will be open on three consecutive Sundays, December 17, 24 and 31st.
On weekdays, shops are open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Saturday, Dec 16, Dec 23 and Dec 30: from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Sunday, Dec 17 and Dec 24: from 11. am. until 6 p.m.
Sunday, Dec 31: from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Shops are closed Monday Tuesday December 25-26 and January 1.
The retail shops federation suggests that retail shops are closed also on January 2nd 2018.
Supermarkets may be open on January 2nd, though.
