Body of migrant recovered from Evros river in NE Greece

The body of a migrant was recovered from the Evros river, the natural border between Greece and Turkey.

According to local media, the man’s age is estimated between 20-25 years old and his origin was from Africa.

The body was discovered by police officers in the river on Thursday afternoon.

An autopsy is to determine the cause but also the time of the death as the body was in advanced decomposition.
