The days of lots of bright sunshine and pleasant winter temperatures are over. At least temporarily. Greece’ National Meteorological Service (EMY) warns of a weather deterioration with strong rainfalls and thunderstorms and gale winds of 8 and 9 Beaufort intensity over the weekend.

The Ionian islands, Epirus, West Macedonia and West Sterea, possibly also the West and North regions of Thessaly and Central Macedonia.
Sunday, Feb 4
the Ionian islands, Epirus, West and Central Sterea, West and North Peloponnese, West and Centrla Macedonia.
Snow on the mountainous and semi-mountainous areas of Epirus, West Macedonia and West Sterea.
The bad weather front will affect also East Macedonia and Thrace, as of Sunday night also the islands of the North and East Aegean Sea
