An airbnb-style online booking platform for those who love to wander around without the burden of their clothes has been launched. Online platform Naturists BnB has been created by a couple from Finland when they found out that it was not possible to go nude on bnb accommodations.
“We are a couple in our late 40’s who learn to enjoy naturist lifestyle years ago. Recently we started also as a nudist Airbnb host. Anyhow we realised that Airbnb community does not really encourage nudist lifestyle. That inspired us to create a site dedicated to clothing optional holidays with ease and conveniency of Airbnb. Hope you enjoy it!,” the Finnish co-founders Petri and Minna Karjalainen write on the Naturists platform.
I think it’s a really cool opportunity to go to these interesting cities and meet some like minded people and stay together with them,” Petri Karjainen told CNN Travel. “On our website all of the properties are targeted for naturist lifestyle practicing people,” explains Karjalainen who has been practicing nudist for the last 20 years.
It did not take long after the booking site was launched and accommodation offers started also coming from Greece. Currently, there are five options in Athens, Kefallonia, Messinia (Peloponnese) and the island of Paros (Cyclades, Aegean Sea).
NaturistsBnB website offers also a set of ‘house rules’ in order to avoid misunderstandings between hosts and guests.
