A British tourist found dead next to garbage bins on the land road Sidari-Karysades near the Ai Giannis village in the north part of the island of Corfu on Wednesday morning. According to preliminary media reports, the man is believed to be a British tourist aged between 40 and 45 who was spending vacations in a rented rooms facility in the area of Sidari.
His body was found by a passerby who informed the police. The man was lying next to the garbage bins on the road side.
According to first indications, police seems to have ruled out the possibility of a criminal act. Suggestion has it that the man most likely died of pathological causes.
An ambulance transferred the body of the British tourist to the public hospital of the islands, where a coroner is to conduct an autopsy to determine the exact causes of the man’s dealt.
