Get ready for a hell of a weather with temperatures reaching above 40 degrees Celsius and waves of disturbing particles of Sahara Dust.
Meteorologists forecast a new heat wave that will start in the North of Greece on Saturday and move southwards on Sunday.
According to forecast by the National Observatory in Athens, during the heat wave period, temperature will rise 37° – 40° Celsius on Saturday and Sunday July 21st and 22nd 2018.
The heat wave will break this summer’s record on Monday, July 23, with more than 40 degrees.
The worst day is expected to be the Monday, when temperatures will climb above 40 C.
If one considers that the expected temperatures are given in …the shade, you can imagine how boiling it will be under the sun especially at the peak hours of heat around and after 3:00 o’ clock in the afternoon.

Sahara Dust forecast until July 24th 2018:
By Tuesday, July 24, meteorologists forecast a change in the weather with very strong wind local – mainly in Central Greece and Evia.
Powerful thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday, July 25, in Attica, Thrace, Peloponnese, Western Greece and the island of Chios. In the early morning hours of Thursday also in Epirus and North-West Macedonia.
With the wind and thunderstorm the air temperature will fall again.
