An earthquake with magnitude 4.5 on the Richter scale occurred at 11:10 on Thursday morning. Epicenter was the beach of Marathokampos in the south of the island of Samos in the Eastern Aegean Sea.
The earthquake had a debt of 10 km.
Two hours earlier, at 9:44 a tremor with magnitude 3.3R occurred in the west of the island.
The two earthquakes were felt not only on Samos but also in the neighboring areas, including the West coast of Turkey.

So far no injuries or damages have been recorded.
Seismologists closely follow the seismic activity.
